About the Role
The Digital Health Partner serves as the primary liaison between Digital Services and its key customers, including Health New Zealand delivery functions and the Ministry of Health. This role is responsible for building strong partnerships with senior management and clinical leadership to develop and deliver digital product and service roadmaps that align with strategic objectives and meet customer priorities. It also monitors the performance of operational digital services, ensuring they meet agreed service levels, and coordinates with delivery teams to address customer concerns. The Digital Health Partner works closely with stakeholders across Digital Services, the health sector, government agencies, and the broader market to enhance the delivery of digital services that improve access to quality care.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Digital Health Partner is part of the Digital Health Strategy & Design team—a collaborative, forward-thinking group focused on stakeholder engagement and strategic investment. The team works closely with Regional Digital Directors, Clinical Informatics Directors, and other key partners to develop digital service roadmaps and adaptable solution designs. By leveraging specialist expertise and strong partnerships, the team ensures investment decisions deliver outcomes that are affordable, sustainable, and equitable across Health New Zealand.
About you
As an experienced digital health professional you will have a strong foundation in healthcare technologies, data analytics, and stakeholder engagement, bringing with you the expertise needed to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment. Additionally, the following skills and experience will contribute to your success in this role:
- 8+ years experience in managing executive relationships in ambiguous and challenging environments
- 8+ years of experience in senior leadership roles in digital health or a related field, with a strong understanding of healthcare systems, processes, and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, health informatics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering digital health solutions, ideally within a complex healthcare environment.
