About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Registered Nurse with broad nursing experience to join our dedicated team who are committed to providing the very best in health care to Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora - Lakes community.

This position is a highly autonomous and involve visiting patients in their homes to apply your practical nursing knowledge and assessments skills, case management and patient education.

About you

The successful candidate will be:

  • Clinically confident with a great attitude and have excellent wound care knowledge or experience
  • Ideally from a community or district nursing background
  • You will be empowered to provide continuity of care for our patients from beginning to end, while we provide great orientation, excellent ongoing clinical support, and access to ongoing education.

The sucessfull will have:

  • Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand 
  • Current APC
  • Current drivers' licence for automatic or manual vehilce and the abiltiy to drive in rural setting
