Preferred Requirements:

• Proficient in all aspects of arboriculture, including tree care, pruning, and maintenance
• Ability to identify and address various tree-related issues, such as disease, pests, and structural concerns
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to ensure the health and safety of our urban forest
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and community members
• Commitment to sustainable practices and environmental conservation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training or certification in arboriculture or a related field
• Hands-on experience in the agriculture and environment sector
• Adaptability and the ability to work in diverse weather conditions

Successful candidates must hold a clean full NZ class 1 license with an EWP certificate. Prior relevant qualification in this area OR proven relevant experience is an advantage. Candidate must pass a pre-employment drug test or MOJ check if required. Open to all NZ Citizens / Residents and with open work visas.
