Embark on an exciting journey as a Utility Arborist with our dynamic team! In this temporary role, you'll be the guardian of our urban forest, ensuring the health and safety of the trees that line our streets and grace our public spaces. Preferred Requirements:

• Expertise as a certified Arborist, with a deep understanding of tree biology and maintenance practices
• Proficiency in operating specialized equipment, such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lift devices
• Ability to identify and address a variety of tree-related issues, from pruning and trimming to disease and pest management
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure the safety and health of the urban canopy
• Commitment to sustainable practices and a passion for environmental conservation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training or certification in Arboriculture or a related field
• Previous experience working as a Utility Arborist or in a similar role
• Excellent physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions

Successful candidates must hold a clean full NZ class 1 license and either be qualified with a New Zealand National Diploma in Arboriculture (Level 6) or well-experienced arborist. Must have EWP. Prefer if you have qualifications or experience around overhead lines. Must pass a pre-employment drug test or MOJ check if required. Open to all NZ/AU Citizens / Residents and with open work visas.
