- Install and maintain drainage systems, including pipes, subsoil drainage, and manholes, ensuring accurate alignment and secure connections
- Carry out trench excavation, potholing, and pipeline laying while maintaining proper water flow and ensuring trench stability
- Adhere to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies
- Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained across all projects
- Work with a team to complete drainage tasks efficiently and to a high standard
- Minimum three years experience as a drainlayer or in a related role
- Strong understanding of construction procedures, drainage systems, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
- Solid understanding of health & safety best practices
- Physically fit and able to work in various conditions
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport
- Reliability, strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety
- Registered Drainlayer with the ability to gain certification under the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Board (PGDB) – preferred but not essential
- The ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Pay ranging from $33-$38 per hour
