POSITION:  DUTY MANAGER-Operations

Role type:  Casual 

What will you be doing?

As the weekend Duty Manager, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Operations Department Team, to ensure efficient, safe, and effective delivery of Operations services within the mall. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

•  Management of cleaning, maintenance and security staff

•  Logging work requests for maintenance issues and retailer complaints, and following up on progress to resolution

•  Assisting Operations Manager with compliance requirements (reports, plans and processes, audits, training etc.)

• Ensuring quality assurance of incidents reports, and making sure security staff understand expectations

•  Maintaining the Centre’s Hazard Register, and insurance/risk audits

Who are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

•  Some experience in a similar Property/Facility Management type role

•  Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team environment

•  Ability to work autonomously, and manage both self and others

•  Good problem solving and decision-making skills

•  Excellent communication skills, as you'll be dealing with various key internal and external stakeholders

•  Candidates must have the right to work in New Zealand
