Support a senior leader in the arts. Temp part-time role in the CBD. Fast-paced, people-focused, and culturally grounded with project and team scope.
We’re seeking an outstanding Executive Assistant to support a senior leader within a high-profile creative organisation. This temporary role runs until approx. mid-December and is based predominantly onsite in the Auckland CBD - 5 hours per day, with the ability to flex up to 8 hours if needed.
This role is working in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment where cultural understanding, professionalism, and flexibility are key.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing full executive support including diary/email management, meeting preparation, and drafting correspondence
- Anticipating workloads, juggling multiple priorities, and managing issues discreetly and efficiently
- Coordinating agendas, minutes, and communications for key internal groups and committees
- Leading or supporting cross-functional projects, ensuring timelines and outcomes are met
- Acting as a key liaison across stakeholders, maintaining strong, respectful relationships
- Supporting organisational obligations, from health and safety to promoting kaupapa Māori and best practice
- Proven experience supporting senior leaders—ideally in the arts, museum, or cultural sectors (not essential)
- Confidence handling sensitive matters with integrity, discretion, and sound judgement
- Strong organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Project coordination experience and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and admin systems
- A working knowledge of te ao Māori, and a commitment to supporting kaupapa Māori
- A calm, professional presence and collaborative approach under pressure
