Mō te tūnga | About the role

As EM Technical Support Adviser, you will be responsible for supporting the Manager EM Support and Senior Advisers with identifying EM technical issues and monitoring the performance of the supplier for all technical related issues.

You will provide information to the Manager EM Support and Senior Advisers to assist with managing the EM contract including identification and monitoring of technical issues, non-compliance, risks or issues of concern, including:

  • Identifying risks and non-compliance issues requiring escalation.
  • Working with EM to identify and address issues to ensure a smooth working relationship and minimisation of problems
  • Work with Frontline staff to enhance their knowledge in relation to EM
  • Ensure that issues raised between the supplier and field staff are referred to the Manager EM Support.
  • Provide responses/advice to requests for information in the EM inbox and answers calls in relation to EM queries/issues

This permanent position is full-time, Monday – Friday, and based at National Office, in Wellington.  Applications from outside the region will only be considered if you would be willing to re-locate.  Please ensure you note this on your cover letter.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Good technical knowledge of EM technology
  • Good knowledge and understanding of operational systems including Eagle and IOMS
  • Can deliver information accurately and sensitively
  • Previous experience working in a busy team providing service delivery support is preferred
  • Good knowledge of probation practice and service delivery is desirable.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage tasks efficiently within time constraints
  • Ability to analyse data and to draw conclusions

Strong relationship management and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.

Utu ā-tau | Salary

The midpoint of the salary range is $87,132 and the full range (85%-120%) is $74,063 - $104,559. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
