About the role
As the Executive Assistant you will be responsible for providing high quality, timely, executive and administrative support to the Group Director of Operations (GDO), through provision of advice, being a central point of contact for the team, and dealing appropriately with matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.
To be effective, it will be essential that you develop strong working relationships not only with the GDO, but with the Senior Leadership team, and kaimahi across the wider organisation. You will also need to be confident and exercise good judgement in working with a range of external stakeholders.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a natural communicator and will demonstrates high standards in your mahi. You will be a highly skilled Executive Assistant who has experience supporting senior level positions, preferably within a health sector environment.
You will also bring the following:
- Advanced skills across the Microsoft Office suite and a high degree of confidence and ability using technology
- Excellent organisational skills along with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities, and meet deadlines whilst preserving the highest levels of accuracy and confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, and the capacity to manage relationships at all levels, including with senior officials and with health sector leaders
- An understanding of Māori tikanga and kawa and Te Tiriti o Waitangi
