About the Role
As the Executive Assistant to the GDO, you will play a
pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office of the
Group Director of Operations - Canterbury. You will act as a key liaison across
departments, support strategic projects, and manage a complex schedule in a
fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the GDO, including diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points for executive meetings.
- Coordinate and support the execution of operational projects and initiatives across the hospital.
- Manage communications on behalf of the GDO, including drafting correspondence and responding to queries.
- Act as a point of contact between the GDO and internal/external stakeholders.
- Maintain
confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
About You
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally within a healthcare or complex organisational setting.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project management tools is desirable.
