Mō te tūnga - About the role:
- We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant, looking to level up.
- Provide support to the Chief Technology Officer and the Technology Manager
- This is a newly created temporary role to help manage workload as the team delivers multiple high-priority projects
- You’ll work closely with both leaders—who are approachable, professional, and great to collaborate with—to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.
- The role requires someone who’s adaptable, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment
- This is a part-time temporary position, offering between 20 to 32 hours per week
- There is potential for the role to extend or become permanent for the right candidate, although not guaranteed
- Diary and inbox management for two senior leaders
- Coordinating meetings, flagging priorities, managing calendars
- Proofreading and preparing board papers and reports
- Editing and formatting documents
- Supporting team events and coordinating with internal stakeholders across Auckland and Wellington
- Collaborating with the wider administration team for ongoing support

- Experienced with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
- Tech-savvy with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Strong admin experience – you may be a Personal Assistant ready for the next step or a newer EA
- Flexible and adaptable – ready to roll with shifting priorities, event dates and promotions
- Genuinely interested in technology, media, or public service
