Te Haeata/The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised professional with a talent for executive administration to join the Strategy, Performance and Relationships, Ātea a Rangi – Strategy Group. In this role, you will provide critical administrative and executive assistance to the General Manager – Strategy, Performance & Relationships as well as contribute to the smooth operation of a dynamic and high performing team.

In this role you will:

  • provide timely and confidential executive-level administration and secretarial services
  • build and maintain trusted internal and external working relationships
  • diary and calendar management including scheduling internal and external meetings
  • uphold and promote good administrative practice across the group
  • contribute positively to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

 

Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone who is proactive, flexible and willing to pitch in to get the job done.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • a relevant secretarial qualification or equivalent experience
  • demonstrated experience providing senior-level administrative support
  • proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
  • experience in processing invoices and using FMIS systems
  • strong coordination and problem-solving skills
  • experience working with senior leaders and in sensitive environments
  • proven ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups, including in high-pressure, sensitive, or confidential situations
  • familiarity with te ao Māori and understanding of te reo, tikanga, and mātauranga Māori is highly valued.

Utu ā-tau/Salary

The remuneration band for this role is $59,729 to $80,794 – while the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience, we are willing to pay higher in the band to attract strong candidates into this role.
