About the role:
Our client is offering a full-time position Monday to Friday role anywhere from 40 - 45 hours per week. The role is requiring someone who is not only comfortable on the tools but also had experience leading a team. The successful candidate will need to ensure that the workshop is running smoothly, and all jobs are meeting scheduling requirements. As part of leading the team there will be the need to manage clients, attend site visits and quote for jobs.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading a small team of fabricators
- Communicating with customers & subcontractors.
- Reading & Drawing production plans.
- Providing guidance and training to the team
- Managing tasks and responsibilities for you and your team
About you:
- Experienced within the Welding & Fabrication environment.
- Experienced with Aluminium sheet metal, MIG and TIG welding, Hydraulic Guillotine and Folders, Brake press
- Previous experience of running your own jobs.
- Takes pride in your work & willing to go the extra mile.
- Creative and looking for ways to improve.
- Excellent people skills.
- Friendly and approachable.
