About the Role

As a Facilities Coordinator, you - ll assist the compliance and planning teams to keep the hospital buildings maintained and meet compliance requirements.

We have a small, dedicated team based in Nelson who cover both Nelson and Wairau hence there is a need to travel regularly between districts.

This role is permanent, full-time working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE). There will be flexibility in regards to work hours and child care on request. On-call may be required at times.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Our team is small and very busy maintaining the district hospitals as well as with compliance as this is a big focus on a daily basis to support the clinical functions . We have a good culture between Management staff , Contractors and HNZ Tradestaff which makes for an interesting day.

About you

As a Facilities Coordinator, you will:

  • Be a team player who is willing to take on any task and follow it through to completion. 
  • Have the relevant Qualifications in Building Compliance/Planning preferably, however consideration will be given to an applicant who has proven experience in this type of role.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
