Job Description
Our client is on the lookout for a switched on and reliable Finance Administrator to join their growing team in a newly created role. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a support role.
This is a permanent position offering a healthy mix of admin and finance tasks, so if you’re the kind of person who can juggle calendars, wrangle spreadsheets, and keep the office ticking along nicely, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage office supplies, vendor relationships, and general day to day office coordination
• Handle all incoming/outgoing comms
• Organise meetings, travel, and appointments
• Keep office files, documents, and records in check
• Process accounts payable/receivable, reconcile bank statements, and support payroll
• Track invoices and follow up on overdue payments
• Prepare basic reports and assist with month end
• Work with IT vendors and manage equipment, security systems, and camera setups
• Be a key point of contact for both internal teams and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
• At least 2 years experience in a similar admin/finance role
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• A proactive, can do attitude - someone who sees what needs doing and gets on with it
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a tight knit team
You'll be working directly with a very experienced (and pretty detail focused) Director of Finance, who’s passionate about upskilling and investing time into the right person. You don’t need to know the ins and outs of their accounting software - they’ll train you up. What’s more important is attitude, reliability, and the ability to learn.
What’s on Offer:
• Permanent role with a stable and well respected company
• A genuine chance to grow and expand your skills - especially on the finance side
• Supportive team environment, reporting into someone who’ll teach you the ropes
• Lots of variety in your day to day
• Friendly, down to earth workplace culture
