Contract Management Accountant role through Sept. Deliver insights, support decision-making, and drive financial performance. Possible extension

The role 
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Management Accountant to step into a vital Finance Business Partnering role within a high-performing and collaborative team. This is a unique opportunity to add real value through timely insights and smart financial decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll bring strong financial acumen, business partnering expertise, and the ability to influence with clarity. This role is a hands-on contract through to the end of September, with the possibility of extension.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing timely and insightful financial analysis, modelling, and reporting
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes across business units
  • Partnering with key teams to improve financial performance and enable impactful decision-making
  • Leading financial oversight of contracts, budgets, and scenario modelling for pathway programmes
  • Enhancing tools, reporting frameworks, and financial systems
  • Collaborating closely with Performance Pathways and Business Operations teams to ensure strong alignment with strategic goals
What you’ll bring:
  • 5+ years’ experience in finance roles, ideally in a Management Accountant capacity
  • Confidence in business partnering with non-financial stakeholders, with strong relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability
  • High proficiency in financial modelling, systems and reporting
  • CAANZ membership (or working towards)
