They require an experienced Finance Business Partner to support their leadership team and assist them in making informed decisions that improve outcomes and ensure value for money.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in providing financial advice and analysis to senior leaders within a dedicated business portfolio. You will contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making to ensure optimal performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide strategic financial advice to leadership teams, and support key business initiatives.
- Deliver accurate and forward-thinking financial insights to drive decision-making.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance collaboration and financial awareness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
To be successful:
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent
- Proven experience in financial planning, business partnering, or senior management accounting ideally within a government agency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial performance clearly.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive, strategic mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence decisions.
