Job Description

Are you an experienced Finance Manager who thrives in hands-on roles where no two days look the same?

Are you confident leading a small team, working closely with operations, and making sense of complex information quickly?

We’re looking for a Finance Manager who’s just as comfortable in the numbers as they are building relationships across the business.

This 4-month contract has the potential to turn permanent and is a great opportunity to step into a high-trust role with broad responsibility.

You’ll support both the NZ and AU entities of a well-established Kiwi brand with a growing international presence (USA and UK included).

What you’ll be doing:

  • Overseeing the full finance function for the NZ and AU entities – reporting, compliance, cashflow, stock, insurance, audit support
  • Leading and supporting a small team of 2–3 direct reports
  • Working closely with the production team, sales, logistics, and plant manager – finance is at the heart of this operation
  • Supporting external audits and working alongside the Group Financial Controller
  • Identifying process gaps and driving improvements – especially around automation and systems

What we’re looking for:

  • CA-qualified (or equivalent) with strong technical accounting skills
  • At least 1–2 years’ experience leading a team
  • Proven experience with Business Central or Dynamics 365 – this is a must
  • Confident working across functions and communicating financial insights clearly
  • Someone who can hit the ground running, ask the right questions, and adapt quickly

Why join the organisation?

Our client is a proud New Zealand business with global reach, known for our down-to-earth culture and genuine commitment to doing things better.

There’s plenty of room in the team for smart thinking, fresh ideas, and process improvement. You’ll get support where you need it – and the freedom to make the role your own.

Ready to lead a team, improve processes, and take ownership of a finance function that really matters? APPLY NOW.
