About the Role

  • Not one day is the same in General Medicine, you’ll have a mix of outpatient care (ambulatory centre appointments) to inpatient ward work plus take part in the on call roster.
  • We have numerous positions open and are open to medicine physicians with sub specialties.

  • You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of cardiologists, oncologists, gastroenterologists and more.

About you

  • The ideal candidate for this role will have an interest in further developing specialist services to meet the needs of a rapidly growing and culturally diverse population.

To be suitable for this position you must;

  • hold or be eligible for Medical Council New Zealand registration
  • have experience in an acute hospital setting
  • and actively participate in the education and training of under graduate and post graduate medical and nursing staff.
