Wellington – CBD North Fringe (near the Railway Station)
$52,000 – $61,000
Full-time, Permanent | Hybrid (2 Days WFH Once Trained)

About the Role: You’ll be part of an incredibly friendly and tight-knit finance team, led by a cohesive and supportive manager who’s genuinely invested in your development. This is a hands-on role with loads of variety, where you’ll support day-to-day finance operations and build your experience in a positive and inclusive setting.
Once you’re fully up to speed, you’ll also enjoy the flexibility of working from home two days per week.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Accounts payable and receivable processing
- Bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Invoice entry and data accuracy
- Month-end support and financial reporting
- General finance admin and project assistance
- Maintain and input student financial records
- Process invoices, credit notes and statements as per policy
- Management of refunds to students/Studylink
- Provide ad hoc reporting as required
About You:
You might be a recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, or someone with a little accounting experience who’s ready to grow. Most importantly, you’re eager to learn, organised, and enjoy being part of a great team.
You’ll bring:
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- A sharp eye for detail and good time management
- Sound Excel and systems skills
- A friendly, team-oriented attitude and great communication
