Working in partnership with primary industries, this not-for-profit organisation is supporting NZ farming by managing disease and biosecurity. Operating a number of programmes across the country, they are engaged in local communities to raise awareness.
About the role
Assisting and reporting to the Health, Safety and Wellness Lead, you’ll provide support and advice to staff and contractors. Assisting in the development and implementation of a proactive, practical and engaging safety programme and initiatives. Through conducting compliance checks and investigations, you’ll also assist in developing improvements and preventative actions.
About you
Experience in agriculture or farming is ideal for success in this role. You must be comfortable on farms and able to communicate and educate a wide range of contractors.
The role will require some regional travel, and when you can’t be there, you must be able to support and communicate well with remote workers.

- Experience with maintaining ISO 45001 certification
- ICAM certified
- Guide contractors with compliance to standards
- Relevant qualifications in workplace health and safety
- Full, clean NZ driver’s licence.
