As Health & Safety Partner, you will be instrumental in developing the venue’s Health and Safety Management System, while embedding strong safety practices across operations, events and high-risk activities. You’ll collaborate with operational teams, contractors and senior leaders to ensure a best-practice approach that not only meets compliance but enhances performance and wellbeing.

- Designing and implementing health and safety systems and emergency planning frameworks
- Leading risk assessments and guiding safe operations for complex, large-scale events
- Coaching and mentoring internal Health & Safety Ambassadors
- Partnering with teams and external stakeholders to drive a strong safety culture
- Investigating incidents and embedding continuous improvement
We’re seeking someone who brings a balance of operational experience and strategic insight, with the confidence to work independently while building strong partnerships.
You will ideally bring:
- Strong experience in safety management or frontline safety operations
- A strong background in event or venue-related health and safety
- Solid knowledge of New Zealand or Australian H&S regulations
- A proven ability to influence, coach and work across multidisciplinary teams
- A relevant tertiary qualification in health and safety
