About the role
Just as they keep their customers products moving forward, this role will keep health, safety and wellbeing for their employees moving forward. On a daily basis, this role will support and guide frontline workers and managers toward success in health, safety and wellbeing.
As part of a trans-Tasman team, reporting to the GM of Health, Safety and Wellbeing, you’ll be a visible presence in their Auckland facility - providing guidance on initiatives and process, contributing to troubleshooting issues and identifying and mitigating risk in the business.
Duties will include
This role requires strong and effective communication, a down to earth, approachable attitude and the ability to quickly identify and analyse issues. Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks will aid in your success.
You must be confident in working with supervisors, line leaders and managers, providing the tools and technical guidance toward ownership and improvement of health, safety and wellbeing.

- Overseeing emergency management response
- Coordinating and managing local audits
- Health and safety training
- Effective communication of health and safety objectives
- Reporting and data management

- Experience in logistics and warehousing
- Solid experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualifications are desirable
- ICAM or similar
- Auditing qualifications would be useful
