About the role
Working across the Auckland region, with a CBD base, you’ll provide expert guidance and support for events, from BBQs to parades. Working with a team of facilitators, you’ll provide the technical expertise to ensure these events are managed safely.
Creating a user friendly, practical framework and templates, you’ll upskill the team along the way, developing proactive and thoughtful processes. You may be called upon to inspect event sites, and be able to debrief the team afterward, highlighting areas for improvement.
Skills and experience
It’s vital to this role that you have excellent communication skills, are able to mentor and support independence and build confidence within the team. There is opportunity to work with the wider HSW team for peer support and sharing of ideas and information.

- Tertiary qualification in workplace health and safety
- ICAM and auditing qualifications would be beneficial
- Experience in large, complex organisations
- Experience in event safety management
- Full, clean NZ drivers’ licence
