Burwood Hospital pool has opportunities for Healthcare Assistants to join their team on a casual basis. Pool positions offers you the diversity in your work day and the opportunity to work with our supportive and cohesive teams to expand your skills across our services.

About You
Healthcare Assistants are instrumental in providing care to tūroro (patients) and supporting the clinical team. As a Healthcare Assistant you will assist nursing staff with:
- Tūroro (Patient) care and tūroro (patient) observation
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment on the ward
- Assisting the nursing team with a variety of tasks on the ward
- Ensuring that tūroro (patients) have the best experience possible.
The role of the Healthcare Assistant offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated individual. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexible candidate who is able to bring their passion to the Burwood Hospital pool.
Skills and Experience
- Ability to communicate and build relationships with people from all walks of life
- Strong customer service skills
- Fantastic organisation skills and the ability to learn quickly
- You will have a kind and caring nature
- A strong work ethic is an integral part of this role
- Experience as a Healthcare Assistant or similar is not required but preferred
