The Opportunity - a new role as we are growing!
We need an extra person in our team to deliver high quality work as we expand by an additional ~300 FTE. You'll join our collaborative HR Business Partnering team, who work with our Executive Leaders and their teams of people managers.
You'll be a trusted advisor supporting managers and employees with varied queries and will build on your understanding of the full range of HR activities.
You'll enjoy varied, dynamic, meaningful work at pace, and your contribution will yield measurable results and drive value across the organisation as you support the team and managers with a range of HR advice, documentation, and processes.
You'll contribute to the development and delivery of processes, checklists, and templates, and assist in the implementation of HR projects and initiatives, policies, and procedures. You'll work across different media, including drafting for intranet articles, our manager portal, presentations, and paper-based documentation.
Other interesting work may include assisting in the development and delivery of HR training curriculum for managers and supporting diversity & inclusion and wellbeing initiatives and programmes.
What will you bring?
With good knowledge of NZ employment law, and contemporary HR practice, you'll love building positive and enabling relationships with staff and managers at all levels. We are a data driven technical organisation, so you'll have the desire to work in an organisation where HR is relied upon to make commercially astute recommendations, based on evidence and principles.
To be considered your CV and cover letter will demonstrate:
- A degree in Psychology, Human Resources, or Management, and at least a years' experience in a busy HR advisory role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills combined with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Adaptability to adjust to new conditions, prioritise/re-prioritise, positively embrace change and remain flexible in response to evolving demands
- Outstanding influencing skills and the ability to change behaviour and opinions
Whilst not essential, previous experience in data analytics and ability to combine information from multiple sources and types to generate insights would be advantageous.
