HVAC Technician – Preventative Maintenance & Installations

Are you an experienced HVAC technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and doing the job right the first time? We’re looking for a skilled professional to join our team, focusing on both preventative maintenance and installation work across residential and commercial projects.

About the Role:
This position combines proactive system care with hands-on installation and commissioning. You’ll ensure HVAC systems run efficiently, safely, and reliably while also delivering high-quality installations and fault diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular preventative maintenance on air conditioning and ventilation systems
• Troubleshoot, repair, service, and diagnose faults in HVAC systems
• Maintain clear, accurate service records
• Communicate effectively with clients on-site
• Install and commission:
  
  • Ducted air conditioning systems
  • Hi-wall split systems
  • Fresh air/ventilation systems
• Follow all safety regulations and compliance standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in HVAC servicing and installation
• Relevant trade qualifications
• A current NZ EWRB Electrical Service Technician Licence is required
• A full, clean driver’s license
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• A strong work ethic and commitment to reliability
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• A professional, can-do attitude
