He angitūtanga | About the role
The Department of Conservation is the lead agency Te Mana o te Taiao Aotearoa New Zealand Biodiversity Strategy 2020. As Implementation and Governance Analyst, you will be at the heart of coordinating efforts across central and regional government toward the Strategy's 2050 outcomes.
Working with a small and agile team, you will:
- Provide secretariat support to cross-agency governance and working groups
- Write meeting agendas, status reports, and key messages
- Coordinate tasks across teams and maintain project documentation
- Support advice to the Minister and senior leaders on ANZBS implementation
- Represent DOC and build effective relationships with stakeholders

This role calls for someone who is proactive, collaborative, and keen to play their part in a high performing team. Your will also have an excellent track record and experience in the implementation and governance space.

- Ability to interpret and accurately document policy context

The salary range for this position is $79,656 to $100,639 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory – this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment.
