About the role
The Individual Giving Lead will develop and deliver the Individual Giving fundraising programme including direct mail, regular giving and digital marketing, using best-practice processes to achieve income targets. Key functions will include:
- Writing and delivering the Individual Giving Fundraising Strategy to budget
- Supporter Care & Development
- Stakeholder Management
- Data & Report Management
Duties
In this meaningful and varied role, you’ll be focused on completing donor care and ensuring all databases are maintained, as well at high level strategic work. This will include:
- Developing a tactical annual Individual Giving fundraising plan, liaising with all areas of the organisation
- Overseeing the overall donor/supporter experience and working closely with all members of the fundraising team to ensure all services including phone lines and emails are responded to
- Working with the wider team to help negotiate contracts and deals with external suppliers
- Process donations and update records
Skills & experience
The successful candidate will have a high level of communication skills including the ability to empathise with others. You will be a critical member of the team, bringing a positive attitude and willingness to help in all capacities. In addition to this, the successful candidate must have the following:
- Experience building and maintaining relationships
- Financial management and reporting experience is desired
- High level of competence in data analysis and reporting, digital communications, and MS 365, and MS Office Applications
- An ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- A high level of EQ with a focus on understanding motivations for giving and raising funds
