About the Role:
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all electrical equipment across the plant. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert support to the maintenance team and plant engineers
- Troubleshooting and maintaining a range of electrical systems, including automation, PLCs, instrumentation, switches, high + low voltage equipment, wiring, pumps, transformers, and lighting
- Proactively identifying, planning, and executing maintenance projects
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors for your area
- Overseeing stock levels and ensuring the availability of electrical and electronic components
- Reading and interpreting electrical plans for commercial buildings and equipment
- Playing a key role in new plant installations and commissioning of electrical and electronic systems
- A current Full EWRB License
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an industrial, plant, or production environment
- Experience working with hazardous/dangerous goods (preferred)
- Physically fit with the ability to work at heights
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage your workload
- Must be a New Zealand citizen or resident
