We’re on the hunt for a motivated and experienced Industrial Electrician to take the lead in managing the electrical operations within our plant and ensuring our systems run efficiently and safely.
Your Role:
As a key player in the maintenance and engineering team, your day-to-day will involve:
- Diagnosing and repairing faults across a wide range of electrical systems, including PLCs, automation, lighting, motors, pumps, and instrumentation
- Supporting proactive maintenance planning and execution
- Taking charge of electrical projects, upgrades, and commissioning
- Coordinating contractors and maintaining inventory of critical electrical components
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics for commercial systems
- Contributing to new installations and system enhancements
- Hold a current Full EWRB Electrical License (not negotiable)
- Bring 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in a plant, industrial, or production setting
- Comfortable with heights and physically capable of the demands of the role
- Self-sufficient with strong problem-solving abilities
- Legally able to work in New Zealand (a citizen or resident is essential)
- A permanent, weekday role (8am–5pm) — no shift work or weekends!
