About the Role

An exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Interior Designer to join a leading Architecture and Interior Practice in Wellington, working on career changing commercial projects. 

Working on some of New Zealand's most inspiring commercial projects with the opportunity to let your personal creativity and passion for design come to life. Day to day you will be working closely with seniors and principals, collaborating with both clients and consultants to take a brief from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to develop innovative design concepts that align with their vision and requirements.
  • Come up with exciting and creative concepts. 
  • Utilize Revit software to produce accurate and comprehensive design documentation.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess project progress and ensure design intent is maintained throughout the construction process.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers, contractors, and consultants to source and specify materials, finishes, and furnishings.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design solutions.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience within the commercial space as an Interior Designer. 
  • Proficiency in Revit and Sketchup is essential. 
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent conceptual, spatial, and visual design skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to collaborate with clients and project teams.
