This is a long-standing main contractor that is well known across the North Island. They have developed a reputation as being solid and dependable. They work across a range of commercial build categories of between $10M - $60M.
Due to future internal movements in the commercial team, they are now looking for either an Intermediate/Senior or Senior QS to join the team.
As an experienced quantity surveyor
- Managing projects end to end
- Preparation of estimates, tender documentation, supplier agreements and negotiation with sub-contractors
- Preparing detailed budgets and cost plans
- Contract Administration
- Undertaking the valuing of variations and potential variations
- Financial control
As an applicant:
- You have a tertiary degree in Quantity Surveying
- You have at least 8+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a NZ commercial main contractor
- Ideally a former trade background would be of interest
- Your IT skills are outstanding
- Experience with tendering and estimating
- You are enthusiastic, organized, confident and enjoy developing, communicating and sharing ideas
