Job Description
We're seeking a skilled and technically minded Intermediate Technician with a minimum of two years' experience to join our team in Tauranga. If you're looking to build a hands-on career working outdoors with geotechnical and environmental monitoring equipment, this is an excellent opportunity. You'll travel to a variety of remote and unique locations, carrying out fieldwork alongside a supportive and experienced team.
Duties include:
- Assembling, configuring, and deploying telemetry equipment and sensors
- Monitoring field instruments, processing of data and reporting
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with electronic equipment and monitoring hardware
- Instrument data integration with our software
- Supporting existing projects and customers through periodic field maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure continuity of high-quality service
What You'll Bring:
- A full New Zealand driver's license as some travel will be required
- 2 years+ relevant work experience
- Familiar with geotechnical and environmental monitoring equipment
- An understanding of electrical concepts and electronic hardware
- Able to troubleshoot, problem solve and provide solutions
- Able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Be competent on a computer, as aspects of this role involve working on our telemetry platform
- An interest in working outdoors
- Ability to lift 20kg+ regularly
- Able to work independently as well be a team player
