We are seeking an experienced ICT Customer Support Specialist with a strong networking background to join a progressive and fast growing education industry business.
Working within an established team, you will provide a high level of networking customer support to a broad range of education sector stakeholders.
The preferred applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- 2-5 years in an ICT customer service/telephone support role
- CCNA or NSE 4 and CWNA certifications highly desirable
- Technical knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto or Fortinet), Switches and Access Points (Ruckus), Active Directory, Radius servers, Google G Suite, Azure AD, Mail applications (e.g. MailRelay)
- An understanding of Network Design concepts and security trends
- Excellent customer handling skills, ideally in a helpdesk role
- Team work, conflict management, problem solving, stress handling
- Ability to work within a close team and take ownership to solve a broad range of networking technical problems with non ICT stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role and all candidates must be currently based in Auckland with full NZ working rights.
