Recruiting Kaimahi Hauora | Support workers for a range of shifts available throughout the Kāpiti area, and to support a new Kiritaki | Client.
Our client is looking for proactive, motivated and considered support workers to help regain independence and engage in activities within the community.
You will bring experience working with kiritaki|clients with brain injuries (Or have the willingness to learn), a full licence and should be okay working in homes with pets. This position would be well suited for someone who enjoys kōrero | conversation and is confident to initiate tasks and run a well set plan.

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to our kiritaki/clients enabling them to lead an active and fulfilling life.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal and complex care, mobility support, home management, and rehabilitation activities.
- Create a safe and supportive environment to encourage independence and participation in activities that are meaningful to them.
Essential:
- Entitlement to work in Aotearoa | New Zealand. We cannot sponsor visas at this time.
- Flexibility in working various shifts including weekends, evenings, and overnights
- Full driver's licence, clean police vetting result and satisfactory references
- Experience in the health care sector, including working with clients with brain injuries, or a willingness and attitude to learn
- Good command of the English language
