Onsite Full time, Auckland CBD
Hours:
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Assignment Length:
ASAP for around 2 months
Hourly Rate:$33-$37 + 8% holiday pay
We are supporting a reputable law firm who are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Corporate Division. This role has opened due to the departure of a long-standing team member, and we need someone who can seamlessly take over responsibilities, particularly billing and administrative support.
This is an opportunity to step into an established role, with a structured handover from the current Legal Secretary. You'll be working in a dynamic legal environment where your skills and expertise will be valued.
About the Role:
Supporting two partners, along with their teams, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Billing management – crucial from the 20th of each month onwards
- Secretarial and administrative support for five authors in each team
- Document management, scheduling, and general coordination
- Working closely with the finance team and corporate training team
Who are they looking for?
- Previous experience in a law firm –with billing exposure
- Familiarity with billing systems – experience with 3E is a bonus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- A proactive and adaptable team player
