Job Description

Provide strong administrative and coordination support to the maintenance team, responding to urgent repair queries. Full NZ Drivers License required.

Mō te tūnga – About the role:

As a Maintenance Administrator, you’ll work closely with the maintenance team to ensure urgent repairs, planned maintenance, and compliance tasks are well coordinated and documented.
 
You’ll need to be quick on the uptake, able to hit the ground running, and confident working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

Key details include:

  • Approx. 3 months with potential to extend, pending competency in the role
  • 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday
  • Based 100% in office at Great South Road, Ellerslie
  • Must have Full NZ Driver Licence (site visits and inspections required)
  • Must hold NZ Citizenship or Residence
  • Must be comfortable pronouncing Māori words as all sites are Māori names
Day to day you may be:
  • Responding promptly to urgent maintenance queries and work orders
  • Assisting with the coordination of planned maintenance, cleaning, and contractor schedules
  • Logging, tracking, and updating repair requests in internal systems
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with property compliance requirements
  • Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams
  • Driving to and from sites using company fleet vehicles

  • Confident in fast-paced environments, able to prioritise effectively
  • Strong administration and coordination experience, ideally in maintenance or facilities
  • Comfortable learning and using multiple systems or databases
  • Practical, solutions-focused and proactive in communication
  • Full Clean NZ Driver Licence
  • NZ Citizen/Permanent Resident
  • Clear Ministry of Justice/Criminal history check
  • Must be comfortable pronouncing Māori words as all sites are Māori names
