Management Accountant | 6-month contract with extension potential | Broad role across reporting, analysis & projects | Start ASAP |

Are you a confident and detail-oriented Management Accountant ready to jump into a dynamic business? We're on the lookout for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, ever-changing landscape.

This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the possibility for extension. You’ll be stepping into a high-performing finance team where your technical nous and commercial mindset will be put to good use. You'll contribute to monthly reporting, system enhancements, and offer meaningful analysis that helps drive decision-making.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting with system implementation projects
• Supporting monthly management reporting, cost centre analysis, and group reporting packs
• Providing detailed variance analysis and insightful commentary
• Helping prepare budgets, forecasts, and annual statutory accounts
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals
• Supporting GST return preparation and assisting with year-end tax workpapers
• Maintaining fixed asset registers and general ledger reconciliations
• Delivering ad hoc analysis and reports as needed

What you'll bring:

• Solid understanding of accounting standards, with exposure to property or project-related industries a plus
• Experience in a similar management accounting or financial accounting role
• Strong Excel and reporting tool skills (any exposure to system implementations is a bonus)
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Confident communicator – comfortable working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
