The Manager, Complex Licensing is a key position within the Gambling Group Operations leadership team. The Complex Licensing team are responsible for leading the regulatory compliance activities for the class 4 societies and trusts, including building and maintaining professional, effective relationships with the sector. The team's work encompasses the licensing compliance obligations of regulatory parties, including their financial compliance. This is reflected in the team structure which has both senior regulators and forensic accountants.
The Manager, Complex Licensing is responsible for building and maintaining a high performance regulatory culture in a team with specialist technical expertise. They are the delegated decision maker for regulatory decisions; often legally complex, high profile and high risk to the Department.
This role is responsible for building effective stakeholder relationships through regular engagement with the class 4 societies, working at the Executive and Board level. Working with the sector to raise compliance including the creation of sector guidance on financial compliance.
The Manager will work closely, internally with Gambling Operations Managers and Practice Leaders to raise financial analysis performance to strengthen our regulatory practice.
