Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role

As Manager Engagement, Ministerials and Communications, you'll lead a dynamic team delivering internal and external communications, stakeholder engagement, and ministerial services for SIA and the Social Investment Fund. This strategic, fast-paced role offers high visibility with senior leaders and Ministers.

You'll drive integrated communication strategies, lead transformational change, ensure timely ministerial outputs, strengthen iwi and sector relationships, and raise the agency's profile during a key period of growth.

He kōrero mōu | About you

You're a senior communications or engagement leader, ideally with public sector experience. You bring proven expertise in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and ministerial services, along with strong relationship skills—especially with Ministers, iwi, and sector partners. You're politically savvy, media-aware, and confident managing high-pressure, high-profile work. You understand Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its relevance to public service. Most importantly, you're a trusted leader who builds inclusive, high-performing teams and delivers results.

 

Utu ā-tau | Salary

Band 20: Min $167,790 – Midpoint $197,400 – Max $236,800 based on relevant skills and professional experience.
