As a Marketing and Communications Advisor, you will play a key role in shaping and amplifying messages, connecting with diverse audiences, and driving engagement to support their mission.

Role description:

The Marketing and Communications Advisor will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing marketing and communication strategies that elevate brand awareness, increase donor engagement, and amplify Caritas Aotearoa's impact across all platforms.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and managing marketing campaigns, including fundraising appeals.
  • Assisting with the development and design of digital and print marketing assets.
  • Managing external media relations and preparing media statements.
  • Supporting website maintenance and digital content creation.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to promote Caritas’ work and values.

This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities: 

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in fundraising or donor engagement.
  • Proven experience with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and social media.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in content creation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
