Mechanically Minded

Tradestaff Tauranga is currently looking for a mechanically minded labourer with a Class 2 License. 
Ideally we are looking for someone with a can do attitude and the willingness to adapt in this ever changing role. 
The ideal candidate will want to up-skill themselves. It doesn't matter if you are coming off a farm or wanting to start a new career. 

What We're Looking For:

• Someone with a keen interest in mechanical work.
• Ideally, you have some technical knowledge or previous experience with machines, but full training will be provided.
• You are reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
• Must be willing to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• A valid driver's license and your own vehicle are required for commuting to work.

Basic Duties May Include:

• Site clean-up and preparation
• Assisting tradespeople and site supervisors
• Loading and unloading materials
• Digging, lifting, and moving supplies
• Operating basic tools and mechanical equipment
• Operating class 2 vehicles
• Following health and safety instructions on-site and in the workshop
• General labouring and manual handling tasks
