About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Imaging Technologist who is interested in join our busy Cath Lab and multi-disciplinary team of field leading cardiologists, Nurses and Physiologists. We have been involved in pioneering treatment options and clinical trials. We use leading technology which demonstrate the passion we have for patient care. You will be involved in a variety of procedures including angiograms, angioplasty, TAVI, TESA, BAV, Pacemakers and Ablations.
You will have an opportunity to expand your radiology experience and skills in this unique highly sought after specialist field. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your continued professional development
Shifts are Monday - Friday 8am-4.30pm as well as an afterhours primary PCI service.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Radiation safety of staff and patients
- Work within the multidisciplinary team to provide coronary angiograms, angioplasty, pacing, electrophysiology and structural heart procedures.
- Perform a range of imaging from X-ray, intravascular U/S and OCT
- Operate and troubleshoot equipment
- Participate in our busy after hours on call service for Primary PCI

About you
- Full registration with the NZ Medical Radiation Technologist Board with general scope of practice
- Current practising certificate
- Skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:
