About the role
Join our team as we expand the Radiology Services delivered at Southland Hospital - Fantastic opportunities available for Medical Imaging Technologists at a range of levels.

About us
Fine tune your skills using our trusted equipment - we are predominantly a Philips department, with the general department being completely digital. Our department provides training to Radiology students from Ara so on the job teaching and supervision will be a part of your new role A modern work environment – Southland Hospital was completely rebuilt to ensure purpose fit and efficient patient flow in 2004. We work a rotating shift roster, ensuring a consistent service to the Southland community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
About you
To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Experienced, approachable, and professional with a team-based approach
- A natural affinity for relationship building with both patients and staff alike
- Be a team player through and through, with refined communication skills
- Hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate and hold registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiations Technologists Board
- Highly adaptable, motivated and efficient
You must have the ability to cover both the on call and shift roster.

Salary range
This role belongs to the APEX/DHBs Medical Imaging Technologists Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($77,087 p.a) and Step 7 ($107,600 p.a pro rata) of the Medical Imaging Technologists scale.
