About the Role

The primary functions of this role are to participate in and maintain an efficient high quality radiographic service for Northland DHB in accordance with standards set by the NZMRT Board. You will need to be prepared to work rostered duties and participate in the out of hours roster, which includes weekend and public holiday day shifts, evening and night shifts. 

 

About the Team/Service/Location

The Te Tai Tokerau radiology department provides a full range of diagnostic imaging services across the Northland region. These roles are primarily based at Whangarei hospital, but with occasional shift coverage requirements at Kaitaia, Bay of Islands and Dargaville.

The department is digital with modern DR, CT, MRI and mammography equipment.

About you

These roles would be suitable for new graduates or those who are due to receive their registration and experienced MIT's looking for a new challenge.

  • Registered NZ Medical Imaging Technologist with a current annual practicing certificate
  • Current driver's license
  • Enrolment in CPD programme
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in CT or MRI desirable, but not essential with training opportunities available.
