About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a detail orientated, innovative individual who excels in problem solving and thrives in a fast-paced environment to join us in our Secretarial Services team as a Medical Secretary. Your main responsibility is to provide accurate and efficient secretarial/administration duties while providing professional support to both external and internal customers.
You will need to be self-motivated, energetic and results driven in this ever-changing environment. You will have a passion for making a difference, achieving results, and be hungry for a challenge. Naturally, you will be able to recognise the needs, aims, and aspirations of whānau from all culturally diverse groups within our community.
We are seeking someone available for to work 80 hours per fortnight, Monday – Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience in healthcare administration and take the next step in their career.

About you
We are ideally looking for someone with experience in a busy secretarial/administrative role, healthcare experience is an advantage. You must be able to deal sensitively and confidentially with all information and have a strong attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Office is a must.
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- 2 years + experience in a secretarial/administration role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in scheduling and arranging meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- Great communication and relationship skills
- Expert typing skills
- An ability to work autonomously but still love being part of a team
