We’re looking for a skilled Mower Operator to join our team servicing a high-end lifestyle village in Tauranga. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience operating ride-on mowers who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of presentation in a premium environment.
About the Role:

• Pay Rate: $28 per hour
• Location: Tauranga, Bay of Plenty
• Job Type: Temporary (with the potential to become long-term for the right person)
• Start Date: As soon as possible

This position will see you working in a public, high-traffic environment, so you must be well-presented, professional, and able to navigate safely around residents, vehicles, and other obstacles. High-quality work and attention to detail are essential, reflecting the lifestyle village’s elevated standards.
Duties Include:

• Operating ride-on mowers to maintain lawns and open green spaces
• Navigating tight or obstacle-rich areas with care and precision
• Trimming edges and touch-up work as needed
• Performing basic mower maintenance and daily checks
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy at all times
• Following health and safety protocols
• Communicating respectfully with residents and staff on-site

Requirements:

• Proven experience using ride-on mowers in a professional setting
• Strong awareness of health & safety in public areas
• Eye for detail and commitment to high standards
• Good time management and the ability to work unsupervised
• Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
