Job Description

Are you a social media leader ready to build something from the ground up? This is your chance to take the reins and head up social media at Arizto!

At Arizto, they’re shaking up the real estate industry with their unique, tech-savvy approach. As a fully online agency, they empower their agents to deliver top-notch service to clients while keeping it cost-effective. Now, as part of their continued growth, they’re building an in-house social media agency—and they’re looking for a proven leader to drive it.

The overall strategy is in place—what’s needed now is a Leader who can take that blueprint and bring it to life. You’ll be responsible for building the team, setting up operations, and leading delivery from the ground up. With your leadership experience and social media know-how, you’ll help refine and evolve the strategy as the function scales—ensuring agents are supported, the brand stays sharp, and results follow.

This is a remote-first, Auckland based role, which will require occasional travel. This is a rare opportunity to establish and lead a high-impact, high-visibility function that will play a key role in Arizto’s next phase of growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build the Team: Recruit, manage, and inspire a high-performing group of social media specialists, account managers, and creatives across New Zealand.
  • Own the Strategy: Design and execute a scalable social media roadmap that supports growth, brand consistency, and agent success.
  • Drive Consistency: Maintain a strong, recognisable voice across all platforms while still allowing for tailored, agent-led content.
  • Team Enablement: While your team will deliver agent-facing education, your leadership will ensure the function stays aligned, effective, and connected to broader business goals.
  • Optimise and Improve: Use data-driven insights to fine-tune campaigns, report on ROI, and continuously lift performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the COO and other internal key stakeholders to align strategies and maximise impact.
  • Scale Smart: Set SLAs, streamline workflows, and explore outsourcing opportunities to grow efficiently.
You’ll Know You’re Right for This Role If You’re…
  • A Proven Leader: You’ve led high-performing digital or social teams before - bonus points for remote teams and service-based environments.
  • Strategic & Practical: You know how to zoom out to design a big-picture plan, but you’re also happy to roll up your sleeves and get things moving.
  • Social Media Savvy: You live and breathe social - across paid and organic, platform trends, analytics, and content performance.
  • Commercially Focused: You align your strategies with real business outcomes and know how to communicate ROI to stakeholders.
  • Emotionally Intelligent: You’re great with people and know how to influence, coach, and bring others along for the ride.
  • Calm Under Pressure: You thrive in fast-paced environments where you can lead with clarity and bring structure to the chaos.
What You’ll Get in Return:
  • A Blank Canvas to Build From: Shape a brand-new function and bring your shared vision to life, with the trust and backing of leadership.
  • Autonomy & Flexibility: Remote-first setup with plenty of room to structure your day around productivity and performance.
  • A Supportive Leadership Team: Work closely with an engaged and strategic COO, with direct input into business-wide initiatives.
  • Career Growth: Be part of a fast-growing company where your work makes a real impact—and where your leadership is truly valued.
  • Innovative Culture: Join a passionate, no-ego team that’s shaking up real estate and doing things differently.
If you’re ready to lead something exciting, meaningful, and built for scale—we’d love to hear from you.
