As a senior safety leader, you will design and drive health and safety programs, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation. Your expertise will support operational teams nationally, while empowering managers with the tools and knowledge to uphold best-in-class safety standards.

About the role
As a senior safety leader, you will design and drive health and safety programs, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation. Your expertise will support operational teams nationally, while empowering managers with the tools and knowledge to uphold best-in-class safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead national WHS initiatives across multiple operational sites
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and safety meetings
- Develop and manage preventative training and care programs
- Provide expert guidance on legislation, compliance, and reporting
- Manage WHS-related budgets and project coordination activities
- Lead investigations and ensure swift, thorough incident response
- Maintain a strong presence across sites, engaging teams directly
- A number of years’ WHS experience in logistics, manufacturing or related industries
- At least 4 years in a senior or management-level safety role
- Exceptional ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven leadership in designing and delivering safety programs
- Strong analytical, communication and conflict resolution skills
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines across a national scope
- Relevant qualifications in WHS or a related field (degree preferred)
- Certifications in Return-to-Work Coordination are ideal
