Are you passionate about delivering exceptional technical support and solving complex network issues? We’re looking for a Network Customer Support Engineer to join a dynamic team and act as a technical escalation point for customers within the education industry.
In this role, you will provide critical support services to internal teams and customers, managing incidents, executing firmware upgrades, and contributing to the upskilling of Tier 1 support teams.
The preferred candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support for wireless networks, switching (Ruckus), and firewalls (Cisco and/or Fortinet).
- Manage incident resolution, firmware upgrades, and proactive system maintenance.
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex connectivity and PC troubleshooting issues
- Proficient in handling technical escalations related to internet connectivity and PC troubleshooting.
- Understanding of DHCP, DNS, and wireless communication standards.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical staff.
- Relevant Qualifications are expected – CCNA Min requirement or NSE 5 desirable.
- Mentor Tier 1/Level 1 support teams and provide technical leadership and case direction as required.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues independently and efficiently.
- Contribute to fault management, system improvements, and service excellence.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Exposure to IT in Education environments is an advantage.
